Part two of motivational wisdom being posted to help keep you mentally headstrong in your quest to greatness.
"I think if one can go through life with no regrets then they have lived a good life. Easy to say, harder to live, but once lived, even for a moment it rewards you with tremendous fulfillment. Everyone comes to crossroads in their lives and the decision that one makes to choose one path over the other is the decision that will ultimately haunt them or reward them. The reason for a past decision revealing itself in the future to haunt you is because of the criteria used to determine the decision. When the criteria used to make a decision is weighted by expressions like: "what is the safe choice", "what makes me comfortable", or "what if I fail"; you can bet a percentage of you potential will forever be lost and unexplored as it is left back at that crossroad in life. Many will choose to ignore and forget the moment and continue on with life. The problem is that shortly afterwards they will cash out on their childhood dreams of becoming that someone as they settle with what is left and available in life." - Greg Plitt
"Let go of the end state that we're going to die. It's done! We just don't know when it's going to happen... Let's get motivated to be ready for that day! But the thing is with all these death examples I've given you from graduations, running marathons, getting into a relationship and getting married, starting a family they're going to serve a positive. Not negative. Positive! Because yes, we studied hard, we graduated from school and now information absorbed taking it to the next chapter. The business world. Applying what we've learned. Loving somebody. Having a family with them. Growing that family together. Yes, the single life, going out and whoring and everything else. Ya know, fucking whoever you want or just having the time to take vacations and not having a babysitter... that's all gone. But for betterment. I'm not married, I don't have kids but my sister does. She says that's the best part of her life coming home seeing the kids. Nothing as sweet has ever embraced her. She had to give up what she thought was cool... single life, control, time and freedom. She gave all that up for this and killed that for the birth of something that's unbelievably more wonderful than she ever imagined. But in life the death is so scary because it's the end. There's no more. That's bullshit! What do you mean there's no more? If there's no more then what are we doing our life for? You've heard of the law of morals? The law of nature... the common good. See nobody applauds the guy who runs from the fight... nobody applauds the man who steals from his neighbor. There's a universal code there of what's right and wrong. The law of that. Nobody taught us it. Why were we given that? Because there's something else and even if you don't believe it. Believe it because it gives your life value... accountability to your life. This life is a test and there's accountability for today! There's also a celebration... like when you graduate college. Big celebration... moving forward... that's what death is. It's a celebration. If you've done it right... you pass your classes. You get a degree. You do it right in life... you help your neighbor, treat others how you want to be treated. These universal laws that no government created. You do it right you pass onto something else... even if it doesn't exist then why not have it exist? I'd rather think it's alive and believe it an be wrong then never have it exist. Because it makes my life accountable, it makes it more fulfilling, more rich, it makes it... worth living." - Greg Plitt
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place... and I don´t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. Because that´s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you worth, go out and get what you worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits. And not pointing fingers saying 'You ain´t what you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain´t you! You´re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
"Do it, just do it! Don’t let your dreams be dreams. Yesterday you said tomorrow. So just do it! Make your dreams come true. Just do it. Some people dream of success, while you’re going to wake up and work hard at it. Nothing is impossible… you should get to the point where anyone else would quit and you’re not going to stop there. NO! What are you waiting for?! DO IT! JUST DO IT! YES YOU CAN! JUST DO IT! If you’re tired of starting over, stop giving up." - Shia Labeouf
