"Have you ever wanted to give up?
Did you feel as though it was just too late to get a new start on life? You feel that everything you've done is an abject failure?
Well, let me tell you the story of a man you might just know...
His name is Colonel Sanders.
His life didn't start out the way most of you think it did.
At the age of 5 Colonel Sander's father died. When he was 16 he quit school. At the age of 17 he had already lost four jobs. At the age of 18 he got married. Between the ages of 18 and 22 he was a railroad conductor and failed. He joined the Army. He applied for law school. He was rejected. He became an insurance salesman.
He failed again.

He failed again.
At age 19 he became a father but at the age 20 his wife left him and took their baby daughter. He became a cook and dishwasher at a small café. He failed at an attempt to kidnap his own daughter but eventually convinced his wife to return home... At the age of 65 he decided to retire. On the first day of retirement he received a check from the government for just 105 dollars. He felt that the government was saying that he couldn't provide for himself.
He'd had enough.
He decided to commit suicide. Life wasn't worth living anymore. He had just failed too many times. But as he was sitting under his tree to write his will he instead wrote what he would've accomplished with his life if he only had more time. But then he realized there was much more that he hadn't done. There was one thing he could do better than anyone (and he knew it) and that was how to cook. He went and borrowed 87 dollars against his check and bought up and fried some chicken using his recipe. He went door to door to sell them to his neighbors in Kentucky.
Remember at age 65 he was ready to commit suicide. But at the age of 88 Colonel Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, was a billionaire.

The moral of the story is never give up on your dreams.
It's never too late to succeed. It's never too late.
Most importantly it's all about your attitude. Never give up no matter how hard it gets. Because if you give up you're wrong.
The one thing that has stuck with me throughout all of history is one quote, 'if you think you can do it you're right, if you think you can't do it you're right.'
So go out today and make a difference be the person you've always wanted to be and enjoy your future." - Evan Carmichael
